Join Shinkei as a Senior Software Engineer

What you get to do:

• Design, build, and test critical components and services for our fish processing system
• Own the execution and testing of software features from development to deployment
• Collaborate in a multi disciplinary team to improve robot behavior, sensor integration, and data pipelines
• Investigate failure modes while robots are deployed onboard fishermen boats

What you will need:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• 5+ years of previous experience on a Software or Robotics role
• Experience owning a significant project in C++ or Python
• Passion for developing clean and organized software and testing methods
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional setting
• Ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to mentor young engineers on the team
• Desire to learn new technologies and to apply them to solve real-world challenges
