Join Shinkei as a Graphic Designer

El Segundo, CA • Full Time • $80K-$120K

What you get to do:

  • Design and produce brand assets across digital and physical touchpoints—including website, social media, events, trade shows, shopper marketing, sales materials, merchandise, and signage.
    • Social: Working with the social media manager, and freelancers, create images and videos for IG & TikTok, LInkedIn or X posts.
    • Paid & Shopper Marketing: Concept, design, and execute digital and social ads that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across paid media channels.
    • Web: Manage and maintain all visual content for our website, including uploading photos, videos, and ensuring the site reflects the latest brand campaigns and product stories.
    • Trade: Design trade show signage and booth creative needs, creating a cohesive look and feel for all B2B moments.
    • Sales Materials: Design sales kits, POS, one sheets that support the Sales Team’s goals and beautifully storytell and educate on the brand.
    • Merch: Design and oversee the production of Seremoni & Shinkei merch (in collaboration with our merch manufacturer).
    • Executive content: Design all fundraising and board decks.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Brand & Marketing and the broader marketing team to translate brand strategy into impactful, cohesive design.
  • Support and manage relationships with external brand, creative, and design agencies—executing projects, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring all work aligns with brand standards and timelines.
  • Support creative direction and visual identity across both Seremoni and Shinkei brands, ensuring consistency in tone, typography, color, and storytelling.
  • Partner with content, marketing, and photography teams to produce assets for social, print, and paid campaigns.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming and concept development for new campaigns and brand moments.
  • Maintain organized design files, templates, and brand assets across platforms.

What you will need:

  • 3–5 years of graphic design experience, ideally within lifestyle, food, or culture-driven brands.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiar with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Strong eye for typography, color, and layout, with a refined sense of brand aesthetics.
  • Experience designing for both digital (web, social, email, digital ads) and physical (events, signage, packaging, trade shows, merchandise) platforms.
  • Comfortable managing website visuals and content management systems (e.g., Shopify, Sanity CMS, Cloudinary, or similar).
  • Experienced in collaborating with or managing creative and design agencies or freelancers.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable—able to take feedback, iterate quickly, and work seamlessly across teams.
  • Passionate about storytelling through design and creating visuals that feel thoughtful, modern, and intentional.

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Photography or photo editing
  • Motion graphics or basic video editing
  • Packaging or product design
